Panguitch, UT

The repair guy took his time getting the van fixed. We got a motel room for Wednesday night and he said that he could probably have us back on the road late Thursday afternoon. He had to order a new radiator from Salt Lake. So, we spent the day in Panguitch with no car and a small amount of food. At 5pm, when the repair guy was putting the van back together, he discovered that a fan blade was broken and he would have to order in another part from St. George and it wouldn't be ready until the next day. Thankfully, my Aunt Cherisse drove down from American Fork to pick up most of us and my dad and Natalie were driving up from Arizona. So, my mom, dad and Natalie stayed Thursday night in Panguitch and the rest of us rode up to Utah County with Aunt Cherisse. The van was finally done the following evening.
Olivia enjoyed beating on Gavin.

But Gavin deflected some of her punches.

Olivia got Gavin's arm in her mouth and started sucking on it...Gavin didn't much care for it.

Gavin and Olivia slept a lot while we were waiting.

One of the beautiful decorations that we enjoyed in the room. The pictures on the wall were all puzzles that had been glued together and framed.

Our "Deer" Experience

We were 2 miles outside of Panguitch, UT when a deer came out of nowhere. My mom didn't even have time to put on the brakes. The deer hit dead center of the van, flew up in the air and off to the shoulder, where it rolled several times. We just kept going so that we could make it into Panguitch. We were blessed that the deer didn't land on the van and that none of us were hurt. The van was full of passengers: My mom (the driver), Melissa, Cherisse, Aubrey, Olivia, Gavin and me. This is the van after the repairs were done--the repairs were only temporary, though--more work will have to be done.

Lunch with Abbey and Kyndal

My friend from Albuquerque lives in Arizona with her husband and daughter, so while I was there she came over with her daughter for lunch. It is fun to think that we are growing up.

Arizona

Gavin lost most of his hair on top of his head, so he looked like an old man. It is growing back in now.
Gavin didn't really love the Bumbo--but he was a little too small still--and he was a little too small for his shirt, too.

Gavin's onesie worked its way up so it looked like a belly shirt.

Grandma loved the slippers on Gavin's sleeper.
Naptime with Olivia and Gavin Grandma put eyeshadow on Gavin's head to make his hair look thicker.

Grandma and Aunt Aubrey put Olivia's bow in Gavin's hair--Ben didn't much like it and Gavin didn't like it after awhile.

The Lake in Arizona

It was HOT--but the babies did alright.
Oliver 5 months, Gavin 1 month, Olivia 2 months
Oliver gave Gavin that scratch you can see on the side of his face and Olivia enjoyed kicking him--he just took it.

Cherisse was terrified of the jetski and would only ride it back to the dock when she found out it wouldn't go faster than 5mph.

My Little Angel

We are at my parent's house in Arizona and last night Gavin kept fighting sleep which left me frustrated and exhausted. This morning when Ben came in to say good-bye (he had to go home and go back to work), this was how Gavin had his hands posed as though he was praying. I think he was trying to make up for last night's trouble.

Sunday Sleeping

Sunday morning I put Gavin in bed with Ben and me in hopes to get a little more sleep. It worked for me, but I guess Ben couldn't go back to sleep--so, he snapped a couple pictures.

While Gavin and I were waiting for Ben so we could go on a Sunday afternoon walk, we fell asleep. I guess that extra time in the morning wasn't enough.
