The nature of life is that change is always inevitable. The Tracy Lawrence song called Time Marches On always comes to my mind when I think of change. And our lives are changing. After two years in Salt Lake City, we are moving. The web design firm Ben works is behind on paychecks, so we have decided that it is time for him to move on. Unfortunately, no one wants to pay relocation costs, so Ben has not been able to secure a job while living in SLC. At the end of September, Ben will move to Seattle to look for a job while living with my brother, Nathan, and his family. Gavin and I will be heading to Phoenix and will be staying with my parents. All of our belongings will have to go into storage, so we will be going through it all in order to rid ourselves of the unnecessary. We are excited to move on, but sad to leave. We pray that the Lord will continue to bless us and that Ben will find a job quickly so that we may all be reunited after just a short time.
In other news, Gavin is walking. I don't have any video of him recently, but these videos are from the end of July. We were visiting Ben's family in Virginia. I think Gavin's favorite part of walking was the cheering, clapping and attention he got.
I like how he has a hard time concentrating on his walking when he is trying to eat a Reese's Pieces.
I love how he is too tired to walk anymore, but he still wants us to clap.

YEAH!!! That is good news for us! We are in the Tri-Cities and you will be only 3 hours away and that is the airport we use some times. Anyway, good luck! The Lord will bless you. If you need anything, or want to be closer, or want to visit, you are always welcome to stay with us...we have and extra room. We also have a attorney that just moved into the ward. We could ask him if he's heard of any other jobs.
ps Gavin is adorable. He has a lot of you in him.
Hey! I am so happy you are coming to AZ so we can get together lots for the boys to play and for us of course too! If you need anything, call me! I hope Ben finds a job fast so you won't be apart for too long. I know how that is...not fun! good luck!
No good about Ben's job, but hopefully whatever he finds next will be better for you and your fam! I am excited for you to be here too though, we will for sure need to hang out!!
Wow. So sorry to hear Ben lost his job. I've been unemployed almost a year now, and finally (crossing fingers) am about to get a job. It's a scary world for designers. And I don't know how, but we've been so blessed and haven't had to go without much this whole time. I was actually thinking about Ben the other day, and how he would be a great cartoonist/animator. Anyway, I really hope you find something in Washington!
