The Labor of Love

This is Gavin and his friend, Mason. Mason decided to share this book right when we took the picture.

Gavin sometimes wears Ben's hat around.

Gavin discovered that by tipping his cup upside down and shaking, water comes out. You can see where he was dumping it in front of him.

Gavin loves Beef Stroganoff. He used to only like the noodles, but now he only likes the meat. I took this picture because he has a piece of meat stuck to his nose.

We gave Gavin a little Nilla Wafer sandwich with chocolate on the inside. He really enjoyed it.

Gavin loves wearing the bead necklace you can see in the picture. I think it is hilarious.

This is my dad--he fell asleep like this. We believe his brain was tapped into his computer.

Ben's cousin, Andrew, and his family were in Salt Lake for a day, so we got to see them and share a lunch with them at Cafe Rio! It was SO fun to see them.

One of Gavin's new favorite things is to lay on the floor. He does it randomly.

Gavin also loves to climb on Ben whenever Ben is on the floor. On this particular occasion Ben was talking on the phone to his mom.

Sometimes Gavin feels the need to watch the TV up close. However, he isn't stable enough to dance when he is standing, so he gets frustrated sometimes when the music moves him and he can't express it.

Gavin's favorite show right now is Yo Gabba Gabba. We have a free trial of OnDemand, so Gavin can watch it all the time. As soon as I turn it on for him, he is enthralled--which makes me wonder if he likes TV a little too much. They sing a lot in the show, so he loves to dance to the songs.

I was trying to get a video of Gavin dancing, but instead he just scowled at me.
